Lab Testing Options
Explore our comprehensive lab testing options :
1) Stress and Hormone Panel-
The adrenal stress and hormone profile is a convenient home test that evaluates key hormones through saliva, including cortisol, DHEA, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, melatonin, and SIgA. Hormonal balance is vital for overall health, with the adrenal glands playing a crucial role in maintaining this equilibrium. When there is dysfunction in the adrenal or HPA axis, it is important to investigate the underlying causes through laboratory analysis. The Fluids IQ Stress and Hormone Profile (SHP) requires the collection of four saliva samples throughout the day to provide a comprehensive overview of hormonal levels. Proper interpretation of these results can reveal insights into potential environmental factors affecting health, paving the way for targeted interventions and lifestyle adjustments to restore balance. Monitoring adrenal health is essential for achieving optimal well-being and managing stress effectively.
2) Dutch Test
The DUTCH test, which analyzes dried urine, offers a comprehensive assessment of hormone levels compared to traditional saliva and serum testing methods. While saliva testing provides insights into free cortisol patterns, it fails to measure cortisol metabolites, which are crucial for accurately evaluating HPA axis function. This oversight can lead to misleading interpretations, particularly in cases of abnormal cortisol clearance. Similarly, assessing sex hormones through saliva alone may not provide the complete hormonal landscape needed for effective diagnosis and treatment. On the other hand, serum testing is widely respected but often limits the scope of hormonal assessment. The DUTCH test's ability to quantify both free and metabolized hormones makes it a superior choice for clinicians seeking precise evaluations for hormone imbalances and effective monitoring of hormone replacement therapy. In conclusion, the DUTCH test presents a more holistic approach to hormone analysis.
3) Mucosal Barrier Assessment
Our mucosal barrier assessment lab now includes an advanced test that not only assesses intestinal permeability (leaky gut) but also evaluates inflammation within the gut. This comprehensive analysis measures key biomarkers such as zonulin and its related family of peptides, alongside histamine and diamine oxidase (DAO) levels. Furthermore, it evaluates the vital histamine to DAO ratio, providing deeper insights into gut health and potential imbalances. The sample collection method is simple, it utilizes a dried blood spot test for easy processing. This enhanced testing approach enables a better understanding of gut dynamics, helping individuals identify underlying issues that may affect their overall well-being.
4) GI Map
The GI-MAP, or gastrointestinal microbial assay plus, is a comprehensive diagnostic tool offered by Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory that provides crucial insights into gut health. By assessing markers for gluten sensitivity, inflammation, immunity, and pancreatic enzyme sufficiency, it helps identify underlying issues related to the gastrointestinal tract. The assay detects the presence of harmful pathogens, including Helicobacter pylori, bacteria, parasites, worms, and viruses, which can contribute to various intestinal health problems. Symptoms such as gas, bloating, diarrhea, and constipation can be traced back to imbalance or excessive growth of opportunistic bacteria. By evaluating these factors, the GI-MAP serves as an essential resource for understanding intestinal health, guiding effective treatment strategies, and restoring optimal digestive function.
5) Metabolic Wellness Panel
The Fluids IQ Metabolic Wellness Profile (MWP) is an advanced dry urine screening that assesses critical markers related to digestion, detoxification, and oxidative stress. By measuring urinary indican, total bile acids, and 8-OHdG levels, the MWP provides valuable insights into various health issues. For instance, elevated indican levels can signify poor protein digestion and absorption, often associated with gut dysbiosis. Additionally, high total bile acids may indicate congested liver function and challenges with detoxification. Furthermore, increased 8-OHdG levels suggest excess oxidative stress, which can lead to the formation of free radicals and contribute to accelerated cell aging. Overall, the MWP serves as a comprehensive tool for understanding metabolic health and guiding lifestyle interventions for improved well-being.
5) MRT Food sensitivities
Food sensitivity testing is an effective and straightforward method for identifying specific foods that may need to be eliminated from your diet. There are various tests available that can detect immune system reactions and other inflammatory responses to certain food items. By removing these problematic foods, many individuals have experienced a rapid improvement in their health and regained lost bodily functions, alleviating discomfort and symptoms associated with their food sensitivities. Consulting a trained Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) practitioner can guide you in selecting the most suitable food sensitivity test tailored to your personal health needs. This proactive approach can provide valuable insights into your dietary habits, ultimately leading to a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.

(2) 60min consult w/o supplements DRES
3) 45 min consult to cover how to perform the collection of lab samples from their home.
(3) 90min R&R (results and recommendation)
4) (6) Follow-up appointments/consultations throughout the (90-120) days
*Note - Labs typically can take approximately 2-3 weeks from time of order to arrive at your doorstep. Also, once labs are shipped via mail typically allow for another 2 weeks for labs to be processed and results delivered.
The 90-day DRESS for Success protocol serves as a comprehensive roadmap for clients looking to enhance their well-being through structured routines. DRESS is an acronym representing the (5) main pillars of health that will be addressed in their healing process - diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, and supplementation . Following the onboarding process, health coaches will order labs and begin with implementing some changes in lifestyle while they await their lab results. In the second appointment, clients receive detailed instructions on how to perform at-home lab tests, including urine, saliva, and blood spot tests, along with a blood draw for food sensitivities. The third appointment is a crucial Results and Recommendations (R&R) session, lasting 90 minutes, where clients receive insights based on their lab results. Additionally, there are eight follow-up consultations, each lasting 45 minutes, focused on ongoing support and adjustments as needed. This systematic approach ensures clients are well-equipped and informed as they embark on their transformation journey.
